Small usability test (6 participants) as part of the ‘Usability engineering’ coursework. The test evaluates the usability of the three different sections on the American Airline website that are used frequently; booking a flight and looking up baggage- and flight information. Quantitative data was gathered by measuring time on task, errors, assists and access to help documentation. Qualitative data was gathered by observing and letting the participant complete a post-questionnaire to measure satisfaction.

Sixteen usability issues were raised for all the sections that were interacted with during the test and recommendations were made textually as well as visually.
Software used for testing: Snapz Pro X and (in some cases) LotusLive Meetings
